SMART FACTORY EXPO: THANKS FOR HAVING US!

Although our feet are still recovering after two action packed days of exhibiting, the IN4.0 team are no-less invigorated by the response to our stand at the Smart Factory Expo 2018!

Our booth was located in the centre of the exhibition, on Innovation Alley, and we were at the heart of the action, giving us the opportunity to meet like-minded professionals from across the industry.

We met countless manufacturers, engineers, students and academics from across multiple sectors, all seeking the same goals as IN4.0 – to innovate and disrupt in our own spaces.

The Smart Factory Expo was also a great opportunity for us to spread the word about our upcoming events. These include our Factory Network event on 5th December that focuses on Additive Manufacturing and our Masterclass on 15th January for business owners.

We also held two prize draws where exhibition attendees had the opportunity to win a Time 2 Android Tablet. The first tablet was awarded to Steven Stocks of UL on Wednesday and on Thursday, Nadine Uwigena-Mudatsikira from the University of Chester won the second tablet. Both winners will be receiving their prizes in the post soon and we hope you enjoy them!

Jurgen Maier, CEO of Siemens UK, also stopped by our booth for a photo. Jurgen is the co-chair of the Made Smarter Commission and their North West Pilot was launched on the first day of the Expo. It is key to establishing the North West as the benchmark of future innovation.

Mo Isap, CEO of IN4.0, said: “The Smart Factory Expo was a fantastic two day event that showcased the best manufacturing innovations. We’re in the foothills of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and by seizing this great opportunity we will be able to secure growth for many generations to come as our predecessors did in the past manufacturing revolutions.”
