FreelanceHER 100 Cohort 2 Impact Report
FreelanceHER 100 is a 12-week business accelerator for women working to launch and grow sustainable businesses in digital, creative, media and technology sectors across the UK. It’s a safe place to test their ideas, innovate and grow their businesses.
Due to increased demand and to make it as accessible as possible, FreelanceHER 100 ran for a second time in 2022, offering fully funded places to female founders from across the UK when it was previously only open to women from Greater Manchester.
With only 19 per cent of women working in the UK tech sector and 5 per cent of leadership positions in the industry held by women, there is a particular focus to support those who work with digital and technology products, services and ideas, as well as women from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
