IN4 Group wins Disruptor of the Year award at the North West Business Masters

IN4 Group, has won the Disruptor of the Year award at TheBusinessDesk.com’s North West Business Masters Awards 2021 for its pioneering services which are disrupting the technology sector and driving innovation in skills development.

Founder and CEO of IN4 Group Mo Isap, and co-founder and chairman Andy Beaden, received the prestigious award alongside the IN4 team at Manchester’s Midland Hotel last night.

Led by Mo and Andy, the skills, innovation and start-up growth services provider, has experienced significant growth and the business has continued to grow by almost 50% year-on-year, with over 80% growth during the Covid lockdown compared to the same period the previous year. This was achieved through major contract wins and increased demand from businesses requiring support in cloud and digital adoption as a direct result of the pandemic.

IN4 also took over management of innovation hub HOST, the Home of Skills & Technology, formerly The Landing, in October 2020 and as operators of the hub, it has continued to thrive. The Group’s contract and partnership with Salford City Council through HOST in MediaCity, has established it as the region’s premier innovation and skills hub.

Highlights over the last year include the launch of FreelanceHER 100 and Skills City, where it secured the largest Department for Education technology bootcamp contract in the North West. It also established the first UK Unity Centre of Excellence, making it the national centre for the biggest video games and immersive platform in the world.

Mo said: “I’m so proud that IN4 Group were awarded Disruptor of the Year at the North West Business Masters Awards last night! Change making requires an unrelenting commitment to excellence and great talent, both of which we have in abundance at IN4 Group. We are truly blessed and extremely grateful.”

“The award was made even more special for having received it from the wonderful Simone Roche and the evening was hosted brilliantly by Shelina Begum. Thank you to all of our clients, partners and supporters…more disruption to follow!”

Shelina Begum, North West Business Editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “In a year like no other, we wanted to recognise the efforts and showcase the positive work of North West businesses. Even with the challenges of the last 18 months – businesses in the region have showed fortitude and determination, working to ensure that operations continued to run as well as innovate and adapt to the changing circumstances to survive – and even thrive – despite the odds.”

“However, what it has truly shown across the region is a business community that is willing to support each other, collaborate, and go that extra mile for their customers and importantly for their staff.”
