Apprenticeship Standard: Digital Support Technician (Level 3)
An entry‑level apprenticeship focused on building digital confidence and using technology and AI to work smarter.
Duration: 12 months learning + up to 3 months EPA
A supportive programme designed to develop strong digital foundations and workplace confidence.
Qualification: Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship
Recognised evidence of practical digital and AI‑enabled support skills.
How we'll support your organisation
Programme Structure: 8 core modules
Covering digital tools, AI‑supported productivity, secure data handling and customer support.
Masterclasses: 4 hours per month
Live, practical sessions focused on everyday digital systems and real workplace scenarios.
Delivery Options: Flexible cohort‑based delivery
Closed employer cohorts can choose remote, hybrid or face‑to‑face delivery.
Open cohorts are delivered fully remote.
Off‑the‑Job Training: 370 hours (approx. 6 hours per week)
Delivered through practical tasks embedded into everyday digital support work.

Perfect for people supporting colleagues or customers using digital systems and services. Learners need basic IT confidence and an interest in digital tools and technology, but no technical background is required.
