Our bootcamp is designed with your success in mind, combining theory lessons, hands-on lab sessions, and knowledge checks to ensure you gain a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.

You will also get the chance to take part in a group assignment and a client-facing project. These projects will enable you to put your skills to the test while gaining industry and project management skills.

This Skills Bootcamp is designed to give you in-depth knowledge of the industry through a mixture of industry talks, alumni panels and other events, you will be given the tools to help you reach the career of your choice.

Beyond the classroom, we offer robust career support, personalized development opportunities, one-on-one technical guidance, and a dedicated Capstone Project Session to guide you every step of the way.

This Bootcamp will be offered again soon for people in Greater Manchester, London, the West Midlands & Lancashire.

Your Eligibility

As well as the criteria listed on the apply page, here are the general requirements for this course:

All candidates must commit to this as a full-time course, meaning up to 40 hours a week.
This course cannot be pursued alongside any full-time work commitments. While it may be possible for some candidates to undertake evening or weekend jobs, this is not recommended.
Access to a laptop that can run Microsoft Teams and Zoom and includes a microphone and camera
Fluent in both written and spoken English is essential.
Computer Competency (no prior IT experience is required, but students should be confident in working independently online across a variety of platforms).

What is a Skills City Industry project?Toggle

The Skill City Industry Projects (SCIPs) are compulsory 6-week long projects that take place during the Skills City bootcamps. SCIPs are a form of preparatory client-facing, group project experience, an accurate depiction of real-world, workplace projects.

Furthermore, SCIPs offer you an amazing opportunity to showcase your technical know-how, organisational, leadership, and teamwork skills to business leaders and prospective employers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to speak about your work with future employers and business leaders.

If I secure a role, can I continue the bootcamp?Toggle

Absolutely you can! Continuing on the bootcamp is the best way to guarantee you have the skills and knowledge necessary to start the role. You must however ensure that your attendance is still maintained to be able to graduate.
